Professor Belinda Gabbe

Belinda Gabbe is the Head of the Pre-Hospital, Emergency and Trauma Research Unit in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine. She is an injury epidemiologist with a clinical background in physiotherapy.  Belinda is a Chief Investigator of the Victorian State Trauma Registry, Victorian Orthopaedic Trauma Outcomes Registry, and the Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand. Her research focuses on the evaluation of trauma systems, trauma system improvements and measuring the burden of injury.  A particular research focus is quantifying the outcomes of non-fatal injury and improving measurement of non-fatal injury burden.

Professor Peter Cameron

Peter Cameron is the Academic Director of The Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre, and the Divisional Head of Health Services Research at Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Peter is a Chief Investigator on leading clinical quality registries including the Victorian State Trauma Registry, the Victorian Orthopaedic Trauma Registry, the Victorian Cardiac Arrest Registry, and the Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand. His main research interests include trauma epidemiology, injury prevention and management, prehospital care and health services and systems research.

Miss Heather Cleland

Heather Cleland is the Head of the Victorian Adult Burns Unit at The Alfred, and is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at Monash University. Heather is the clinical lead and chairs the Steering Committee of the Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand. Her research focuses on the management of burn injury.

Dr Lincoln Tracy

Lincoln Tracy is is a researcher with expertise in the modulation of psychological and physiological aspects of pain, and has completed a PhD in psychology. He works as a Research Fellow on projects related to the Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Judith McInnes

Dr Judith McInnes is a public health researcher and epidemiologist. Her doctoral thesis, completed at Monash University in 2017, focused on the relationship between high ambient temperature and risk of work-related injury, and included a comparative evaluation of several large population-level datasets for epidemiological research purposes. She is currently a research fellow with the Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand (BRANZ) at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University.
